
JOGIN JOSE, MD
Dr. Jose is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been proudly serving patients throughout the Chicagoland area since 2021. Originally from Chicago, he is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered eye care. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison before returning to Illinois to obtain his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his internship at Ascension Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston and went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Loyola University.

Dr. Jose has extensive experience in cataract surgery and specializes in modern, advanced surgical techniques designed to optimize visual outcomes and enhance patient comfort. His expertise includes femtosecond laser–assisted cataract surgery as well as the implantation of premium intraocular lenses, including multifocal, accommodative, and toric lenses, allowing him to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique visual needs and lifestyle.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, maintaining a strong commitment to staying at the forefront of advances in ophthalmic care. Known for his attentive approach and dedication to patient education, Dr. Jose strives to ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Jose enjoys spending time with his family. He is married and the proud father of two sons. In his free time, he enjoys following his hometown professional sports teams, especially the Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls.
